The Jury's description:
The proposal is clearly divided into three areas, in which buildings vary in height. In the 'canal town' there is a high-rise which provides a portal through to the area facing the town. The eastern section towards the town centre contains shops, services, etc., whereas dwellings are found in the lower buildings facing westward out into the landscape.

The Jury's judgment:
The jury finds this proposal immediately accessible and usable. The accompanying illustration showing a street scenario involving considerable integration of town and nature and exciting architecture with town houses offers a very inviting prospect – a good place to be and live in.
